Question: So, how does it work? What’s the process?
Answer:
We have proven methods of identifying certain interests on Facebook and Twitter, targeting those individuals who enjoy your exact style of music. We reach out to thousands of those people on your behalf to expose your music. This is in an attempt to discover new fans that have a high probability of appreciating your sound. Because we reach out to so many people on your behalf by inviting them to join your fan page, the fans that opt in become a true part of your fan base, allowing you to market your music and inform them about tour dates, etc. Although our campaigns take under 3 months to implement, these fans are yours forever! For every person who joins your fan page, a note of that action shows up in their “news feed” allowing all of their friends to see that they joined. Many times, friends share a similar taste in music so this can be highly beneficial.

The word “fan” (as referred to on Facebook) is a user who opts in to join the artist page that identifies you as an artist. On this artist page you can include all of your gig dates, you can sell your music, and most importantly you can communicate with your fans, keeping them informed as to what’s going on in your career.
Question: What is a “follower”?
Answer:
The word “follower” (as referred to on Twitter) is a user who opts in to follow your every move on the twitter platform. Anytime you send out a “tweet” or mini message, all of your followers will receive that message. That message can be a promo link to download one of your songs, or just a friendly status update. This is a great way to keep connected with your fans in real time.
Question: What are the benefits of HypeGenius in comparison to Facebook or google ad words?

HypeGenius can’t really be categorized with many other companies because we have the unique technology that allows us to guarantee high results for a truly affordable price. That being said, one of the few services we have been compared to are Facebook or Google ad words.
With either of these you will find yourself paying a certain fee for a “click” of your ad. All you are really getting is that click and it will typically cost you about a buck per click. Our system is only effective when we reach out to your fans as a part of your marketing team. We want your fans to be interested in you, not us. So we use your account to promote from.

Everyone we reach out to on our client’s behalf must choose to opt in to join the fan page or Twitter profile in question.
